DV card and tablet_0066small.jpg

Corresponding with their celebration of Lisa Immordino Vreeland’s book, Diana Vreeland: The Eye Has To Travel, Barneys unveiled a collection of DV-inspired stationary. The store launched bespoke stationers Connor exclusively, and enlisted their talents to create special edition note cards and writing tablets as an homage to the fashion icon.

Drawing inspiration from Mrs. Vreeland’s signature accessory, an oversized tusk on a gold chain that she wore around her neck almost daily, and her archetypal color, primary red, creative director Henri Richter-Werner created a simple but bold design that perfectly evokes her style.

The tusk necklace is hand-stamped in gold and pearlescent ivory on the correspondence cards; each set includes twelve cards and ivory envelopes lined in DV red. Notepads come in sets of three, with the custom insignia emblazoned on each cover.

Each set includes a glossy insert card, also in red, denoting special edition Diana Vreeland collection; and each is delivered in Connor’s customary style — nestled in Italian linen boxes.

Due to the limited nature of this collection, it is no longer available.
